That was the thought process of Willow in Angel Fire. For all 709 pages of it. I contemplated giving it one star but this is pretty much the only book series where angels aren't even remotely close to being the nicey nice messengers of God. Brownie points for that.

Lucky me, I was able to read an ARC of Angel Fire! My initial reaction after turning the last page was precisely this: Holy crap in all that is holy! I am going to strangle L. A. Weatherly for writing such an awesomtasticonderful angel seriesone that made me bawl, laugh, chew my nails, hold my breath, cried a thousand oceans, get so angry I couldnt breathe and saw red, cried again, laughed like an idiot, and closed the book with a lump of happiness so ginormous I didnt know what to do with all

I was thinking about the book for several days and the only reason i pushed away to write something is because simple i was not able to. My thoughts and my emotions was running up side down and simple i wanted to calm down and relax untill i will be able to write something... Not that important but something about this amazing book.I had to be clear and say that i was waiting a whole year to have the second book in my hands.If you knew me you will probably know already that i adore L.A.

It is a very good thing that I do not judge books by cover. I'm not looking forward to the separation of the main characters. Can't any lovers just be together and defeat the bad guy? Oh well....Still cannot wait to read this book.

Heartbreaking, exhilarating and thrilling, this book was epic! The characters grew to be even more fascinating then in the first book and the new characters were unique and relatable. They gave growth and new dimensions to the story. My favorite character besides Alex and Willow (obviously) would really have to be Sebastian. He literally is perfect in my eyes <3 Alex and Sebastian were incredibly selfless and brave, it was heart wrenching. Willow shocked me a multiple of times, she has steel
