Interpretation In Favor Of Books Malice (New Orleans #6)

This is the 6th book in the New Orleans Series and we meet Detective Bentz, who has resigned from the LA Police Department after the death of his ex-wife. He moved to Louisiana leaving behind an unresolved murder of twin sisters.

He now works for the New Orleans Police Department and married Olivia, a beautiful woman and living happily together.

Recovering from an accident he starts seeing Jennifer, his dead ex-wife. He begins doubting his sanity and with the help of Detective Montoya….I love this guy…..tries to solve the mystery. He returns to LA where and people he knew or were associated with him begin turning up dead. I tried guessing who the murderer was and I was shocked when the person was revealed. Totally unexpected.

Wow….from the very beginning you are taken on rollercoaster ride filled action filled suspense.

I liked reading the killer’s viewpoint. Added a creepy feeling to the story.

Stars: 4 / 5Recommendation: Bone-chilling thriller with the touches of romance, lust and twisted minds - a perfect medley to enjoy the read despite the shivers it leaves in the reader's spine.Malice is the sixth book in the New Orleans series by Lisa Jackson with Detectives Rick Bentz and Reuben Montoya published in January of 2009. This plot is set three months after the events in Lost Souls and the author brings back her focus on Rick Bentz with Rueben Montoya at his side, who aids him at

Before DNA testing was available, victims were identified by their belongings and looks. Rick Bentz is either seeing a ghost, or he buried the wrong woman. Now that DNA testing is available, it may be time for an exhumation.New Orleans Detective Rick Bentz is recovering from a spinal injury so he is currently off-duty. However, he keeps seeing his ex-wife Jennifer appear everywhere. He cant believe what his eyes are showing him, as he knows he buried Jennifer twelve years ago. Either someone is

I did not finish the book, Its boring, all the description and everything , characters portray almost the same personality I cannot really distinguish who's who, there is no individuality among the characters, no spices, definitely lacks that certain aspect that keeps a reader craving for more to turn the page and keep reading , Repetitive first person point of view makes it more confusing for me.

This is a piece of crap. I suffered through a 500-page book that could have been 300-pages if she stopped explaining every damned thing (SHOW, don't TELL). And every time she used the phrase "oh, god" or some variant, which is about every third sentence, I wanted to beat my head into the wall. Avoid this thing.

I like my suspense more straightforward. I'm not much a fan of police procedure being tampered with either. There were too many things that just didn't really add up here. The characters were sterotypical and one note. It took quite a long time for this book to ramp up and then it meandered along until it was all too hastily and conveniently wrapped up in the last few pages.

Boring. This book is too dragged out and gets you hooked in the beginning but fails to keep you captivated halfway. Way too much unnecessary detail, explaining and dialogue . I expected a lot more when I started reading it. This book is seriously not for everyone, if you have the patience to stick through a plus minus 250-300 page dry spell then by all means attempt this book , otherwise don't waste your time. Also there is a lot of unnecessary police stuff. That in the end just bores the reader
