The book, The Kite Runner was one of the best novels I have ever read in my life. Once I grabbed the book in my hand, I sat for hours and read. The novel begins with the recount of the relationship between Amir, who is a son of rich family and Hassan, son of servant in the house. They spend their childhood together and are best friends in someway, but their relationship is intricate, since Hassan is Amir's servant. Amir's father, Baba likes both Amir and Hassan, but is harsh to Amir sometimes"The Kite Runner" reminded me of a very important and critical point that we all must pay attention to:We must not let envy and jealousy feelings to control our deeds and take us to the non-returning point. The Islamic religion has taught me that the first sin Satan had committed was getting jealous of our father Adam in paradise because God created him from fire while created Adam from soil. This is the most emotionally effective book i have ever read really touches deep into your feelings.I don't think anyone can beat hosseini's writing style definately going to remember this book forever i loved the way hosseini describes the war through a kid's eyes
Beautiful and emotional story about the childhood, the friend Hassan, the country where the author was born, Afghanistan. The secrets, the emotions, the discrimination of the Hazaras, the cruel Taliban. the escape and the new life in the US. I can recommend this story. A musthave.
