MEMORIES OF MY FUTURE is a great book focused on the themes of coexistence, courage, and selflessness. It starts off with Dr. Avinash Singh, a man who is broken and faced with an impossible task. From there, the story goes between three different time periods as Avinash learns from his past ancestors. It is through learning these lessons and applying them to his life that Avinash becomes who he is meant to become. There is a lot to love here without giving away any major spoilers. I liked

Though not my typical read, this novel caught my attention from the beginning and kept me enticed until the perfect ending on the last page. Dr. Singh's journey is the driving force for the novel. The parts from the past really show how the past and present are not so different after all. We're fighting the same battles as our ancestors; the only difference is that our "enemies" have new faces. Some are external while the biggest foes we face are truly inside of us.

Beautiful novel that weaves three generations, each separated by hundreds of years, together. Journeying through these tales along Avinash, we learn valuable lessons from our history. We learn the power of courage and unorthodox thinking. We learn the power of never giving up and standing our ground, even against unbeatable odds. We learn the power of one man's worth. Everything is tied so beautifully by Ammar Habib and Dr. Sinha. Well done!!
