Article About Books The Gift (Witch & Wizard #2)
I absolutely loved Whit in this book. I'm always thoroughly amused by the banned lists in the back of the book, too! It was a great read, very fast-paced and thrilling. I can't wait for the next one!

This one was better than the first. I wonder if the next one is even better than this and obviously the first. A series that starts off bad only to get betterbetter by every book? That would be interesting. Wisty is getting to be a better character in this one. Her brother Whit is still annoying me.

The Witch & Wizard was good. I'll give it that. It wasn't the best book it had ever read, but it was fresh, funny, fast and fun. It was written in the same tone that the Maximum Ride series was written in, with a twist of magic. If there hadn't been the sequel, I would have been happy. But there was, and I'm not. I've read the more recent Maximum Ride reviews, so I'm sure there are people who agree with me when I say the plot has steadily gotten worse, with people changing sides all the time

can't finish, even if it means having to explain to the supervisor who lent it to me exactly why i didn't like it. good lord, what a trainwreck.

I enjoyed this book much more, even though I got very confused. more could've been done to show that the end of the first book wasn't before the second book but an ongoing point that the two books lead to. It was really good. I'm confused about Byron and Celia and the end scene but I have the 3rd book so there's no time to waste!

In my opinion this book was really good. I really like how the chapters alternate between Whit (Whitford) and Wisty (Wisteria) because I can see how they are thinking differently and alike. Another reason I like this book is because I can relate. I have siblings so I know how you tease eachother, but in the end still care for eachother. This book is a really easy and quick read. This book is not challenging for me but it is a good book to read for fun.

I really wanted to love this book, alas it wasn't to be.
