this book in the series is when they hatch the meech dragon Regidor and along the way they hatch two minor dragon which was Dibl which is a laughter dragon and Ardeo a light dragon. kale gets to see her mother. At the end they kill Risto the evil wizard.

I liked this book even better than the first in the series! The story here picks up just a couple weeks after the events of the previous book, DragonSpell (Dragon Keepers Chronicles, Book 1). Since we already know the characters, the story here is able to take right off without needing to take time to introduce the reader to everything and everyone.Most of the same characters from DragonSpell are back, with the addition of several new ones as well. Ill start off by saying I enjoyed DragonQuest quite a bit more than DragonSpell, the first book. I could see things much more clearly in this book and felt a much stronger bond to the old characters as well as the new.I think my favorite thing about this book were the new characters.
