Seeking Crystal (Benedict-Savant #3)
Crystal Brook has always been the dud Savant in her family; paranormal powers just aren't her thing. Dropping out of school with a clutch of 'E' grades and no future, she lives in the shadow of her high-flying sister Diamond. On a trip to Denver, a chance encounter with the dashing Benedict brothers leaves Diamond head over heels in love and engaged to be married. Crystal, on the other hand, is unimpressed by their charms . . . in fact no boy can annoy her as much as Xav Benedict! Back in Venice, their families assemble for Diamond's wedding and a powerful enemy seizes the opportunity to attack. Crystal and Xav must join forces to save their loved-ones, unlocking a secret that, until now, has lain deeply buried . . .
The first half of this was soo slow and I found some of the 'romance' aspects very cringey. The second half was better. FULL REVIEW TO COME Xavier, you have given me more grey hairs than all my sons put together. Saul frowned, then corrected himself. To be fair, you and Zed. Just try not to add to them tonight. My review can also be found HEREI just love this series. I love Joss Stirlings portrayal of family love and endurance. It doesnt matter what life throws at the Benedict family, they are
I have to say I was a little bit disappointed in the ending of this series.I liked Xav in all the other books & still really loved him here. But Crystal for me was a disappointment. She was IMO a very selfish character & never really redeemed herself for me.Also one minute she was hating herself, then she thought she was all that and a packet of crisps & then it was like the author remembered that the character was supposed to be riddled with self doubt.I really loved the first 2
Seeking Crystal is the third book in the intriguing and extremely gripping Benedict series. If your looking for a set of books to get obsessed over this year, make sure you pick up this series.Crystal Brook doesn't seem to have paranormal powers like she should have been born with. She's not clever, she's not pretty and, to rub it all in her big nose, she's always been in the shadow of her successful older sister, Diamond. On a trip to Denver, a run-in with the gorgeous Benedict brothers leaves

It started really boring but I liked it in the end. We have a tall female protagonist! Practically unseen! What I liked about this book was her ability! So different and unique! Finally the Benedicts brothers can find their soulmates! ALL OF THEM. So, the book started with Crystal and her sister Diamond being attacked by muggers, and who finds them? Obviously a Benedict. Trace and Diamond become Soulfinders, and kiss and kiss, while Crystal, injured on the floor waited patienly for them to stop.

Do you know what it's like to laugh that much, your cheeks hurt? Well I do, Xav is just so funny! This book is certainly worth of 5 stars, nothing less. I really enjoyed this book, it's exciting and I could't put it away. I really don't know how Joss does it, most of the time when I read the sequel of a book, I expect the first one to be the best. But every book is just as good as the last one, if not, even better. The quote I loved the most and that stayed with me was: "Sometimes the comedy stopsThe first half of this was soo slow and I found some of the 'romance' aspects very cringey.
